We completed the designed of The Addisons Backyard last June (Yes...June 2015) and it's now finally coming to life. It's been a full year and we couldn't be more excited to see all our hard work from last year be realized! Hopefully it turns out how it should - a year later!

The Addisons Residence is now open (!!!) and I couldn't be more excited to share photos from yesterdays shoot with photographer Joel Levy.
It's been such an incredible week filled with so many mixed emotions. Running on such an adrenaline, it was so amazing to see the entire team power through long days and late nights to make it all come to life.
Someone please pinch me (!!!). It's such an honour to work with amazing clients (John Doe Group - JDG) who trust me with my vision and allow me to do what I love the most - DESIGN!!!

Today marks our One Year Wedding Anniversary!
Overjoyed with so much love this weekend, we celebrated our good friends wedding yesterday outdoors and was surrounded by the most beautiful, beautiful property! Since we were already in Cambridge, Gabe made reservations to Langdon Hall's restaurant for brunch where we had ingredients from the properties garden.
Christina from Truffle Cake & Pastry surprised us and made Gabe and I a replica of the top layer of our wedding cake just for our anniversary! Knowing that this is one of her most busiest weekends and she took time out to make us a cake AND deliver it to us, Gabe and I couldn't be more thankful as her cake has so much significance to our day (not to mention I have dreams of her salted caramel cake). And if your wondering where the original went, I couldn't hold back and ate the whole thing two days after our wedding day!

Back in October 2014, I had the opportunity to help with styling a Yabu Pushelberg Hotel photoshoot. Although I personally did not work on the Park Hyatt New York project, I quickly familiarized myself with the space, learned a termendous amount while shadowing the director of YP, and was able to see through the lens of Photographer Evan Dion.

It's been almost 3 months since my last post.
During this time, I've realized that so many things/factors have held me back from updating my blog. Now looking back, I am now re-focused on why I started in the first place and I cannot wait to share and document my personal thoughts, visual experiences and my journey over the years.

If you are reading this blog post from Vancouver you will already know how amazing Meat & Bread's sandwiches are. It's been just one month since my trip out west and I definitely still have cravings. They serve a choice of 4 sandwiches daily (one being a vegetarian option) and the Porchetta being their most popular as it's seasoned with salsa verde and once prepared they stuff the sandwich with crispy skin. YUM!!!
I'm a total sucker for great branding and packaging! Gotta love the wooden knife for sharing too!

It's just been nearly two weeks since Gabe and I were in Vancouver. Although it was a very short trip filled with family gatherings and a second wedding celebration, we were able to sneak away to spend some alone time at my favourite spot called the Deep Cove.
Our stay wouldn't be complete without the famous honey doughnuts, a cold beverage and a bit of sun tanning!
The long weekend is coming up ahead, hope everyone has plans on enjoying it!

Last week I was lucky enough to stay at The Marlton Hotel - a new hip London feeling hotel in the heart of NYC! I loved everything about my room. It was cozy, comfortable and it had just the right amount of gold to fancy my taste while still feeling like home! Be sure to make your way to the lobby lounge for late night drinks...

I am excited to share the great news that my "bridesmaids ask" photoshoot is being featured on Style Me Pretty Canada (SMP) today!
I can't thank the photographer enough, Laura Clarke of Laura Clarke Photography for capturing every moment of the day so beautifully. Her natural eye for beauty and attention to detail is impeccable . Her bubbly, energetic personality made it so easy for us to be our (goofy) selves in front of the camera. We all had such a great time and we look forward to these photos in the years to come. I couldn't be more happy with all the photos.
Lastly, I wanted to thank my girls for being the most amazing sisters, friends a girl could ever ask for. You are my true life supporters, constant cheerleaders and my food partners in crime.

This morning started off to be just like any other morning. I turned off my alarm, scrolled through my news feed on Instragram then hopped into the shower. I got dressed, put on my jacket and while waiting for my two lovies who I share a cab with every morning (YES, every morning!) I scrolled through my news feed again to find a tag notification from Style Me Pretty Living. Pretty much in shock, the first thing I did was call Laura Clarke to update her on the amazing news!
Today we were featured on Style Me Pretty Living and Style Me Pretty Canada!!!
I had such a blast with the planning of the party! What I looked forward to the most was all the little details that really brought the event to life! Laura did such an amazing job capturing the entire celebration to perfection and all the personalities (quirkiness) truly came through in her photographs!
As a huge follower of Style Me Pretty and Style Me Pretty Living, today couldn't be any more exciting as it truly is a dream come true - I am so thankful for the feature!
